Hand-rolled one at a time at Gypsy Hollar, our Mullein Smoke Rolls offer a simple way to bring the earthy aroma and old folklore of mullein into your home.

Mullein has a long history intertwined with folklore, fire and light. Its tall, dried flower stalks were historically used as torches when dipped in fat or wax, earning the plant old folk names associated with torches and candles. In herbal folklore, mullein has also been associated with protection, courage and the clearing away of unwanted energy.

Each roll is handcrafted using dried mullein and is intended to be burned as an aromatic herbal incense or used as part of a smudging ritual. Light the tip briefly, extinguish the open flame and allow the roll to gently smolder over a heat-resistant, fire-safe vessel.

Each package contains 6 hand-rolled Mullein Smoke Rolls along with a printed guide sharing a little of mullein’s folklore, tradition, use and important safety information.
